Innocean Worldwide is conducting the 'S.O.S Program,' a campaign idea contest for stalking prevention.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Innocean Worldwide announced on the 8th that it will conduct the ‘S.O.S Program,’ a campaign idea contest for stalking prevention, in collaboration with the National Police Agency.
The S.O.S Program is Innocean’s representative talent donation social contribution activity that proposes solutions to social issues based on the creative capabilities unique to advertising companies. Innocean plans to invite university students aspiring to become advertisers to submit campaign ideas on stalking crimes and to directly execute the campaign together with the participant who submits the best idea.
The S.O.S Program idea contest is open to university students (including those on leave) and graduate students regardless of major, region, or nationality. Participants can apply by submitting their entries on the dedicated website from July 2 to August 13.
The contest themes are ▲changing social awareness of stalking crimes and ▲campaign ideas to promote stalking reporting. Participants can submit a proposal within 30 pages in PDF format or creative works in the form of video, print, outdoor, or innovation (advertising solutions using new technologies, methods, or objects). There are no restrictions on the topics or the number of submissions.
The best idea will be announced in early September. The grand prize winner will receive a cash prize of 5 million KRW, the Commissioner of the National Police Agency Award, and the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award, as well as an experiential internship opportunity at Innocean. During this period, the winner will receive advertising know-how from mentor experts composed of Innocean employees and will directly experience practical advertising work, including executing the campaign they planned.
An Innocean official said, “The S.O.S Program is a talent donation social contribution activity that nurtures future advertisers by contemplating innovative creative solutions to social problems through this process,” and added, “We hope that various creative ideas will be presented to raise public awareness of stalking prevention and encourage participation.”
