Naver Unifies Smart Store Order Management Fees Based on 'Sales' Criteria

[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] Naver Financial announced on the 2nd that it will simplify the commission rate system for the order management service provided to Smart Store operators based on sales.

The order management service is an integrated solution that provides Smart Store operators with necessary services across the entire e-commerce business, including payment gateway (PG), sales management, delivery tracking, customer management and marketing, and sales analysis.

Naver Financial will unify the commission rates for the order management service provided to Smart Store operators based on sales scale starting from the 31st.

For small businesses with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less, the rate will be 2%, and for general businesses with annual sales of 3 billion KRW or more, it will be changed to 3.3%.

Since the commission rate system by payment method chosen by buyers has been abolished, the company explained that operators can accurately and easily predict the cost of the order management service based solely on their sales scale.

Choi Jinwoo, head of Naver Financial, said, "The Smart Store order management service has provided virtually the lowest commission in the industry so far," and added, "We expect the burden on operators to be further reduced with this reorganization."
