Gochang County Governor Yugi-sang Proposes Inclusion of Noeul Bridge in National Plan During Meeting with Minister Noh Hyung-wook

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Yoo Gi-sang, former governor of Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, is making an all-out effort on all fronts, including meeting with Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Noh Hyung-wook and Chairperson of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee Jin Sun-mi on the 25th to have the Noeul Bridge included in the national plan.

On the day, Governor Yoo Gi-sang and Gochang County Council member Jin Nam-pyo met with Minister Noh Hyung-wook and Chairperson Jin Sun-mi to explain the justification and necessity of the Noeul Bridge construction project and requested its inclusion in the '5th National Road and Local Road Construction Plan.'

Governor Yoo Gi-sang stated, "Noeul Bridge is the biggest pending project for Gochang and Buan, and it must be included in the 5th National Road and Local Road Construction Plan to resolve the long-standing wish of the residents of Gochang and Buan." He added, "I once again emphasized the residents' aspirations and the necessity of the project."

Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Noh Hyung-wook said, "I am well aware of the necessity of constructing Noeul Bridge for balanced national development and the development of the West Coast area," and added, "I will actively review the inclusion of Noeul Bridge in the national plan."

Chairperson of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee Jin Sun-mi also said, "I agree that the construction of Noeul Bridge is an essential project for the development of the Jeonbuk coastal area," and added, "I will actively support the inclusion of Noeul Bridge in the national plan."
