According to SsangYong Motor on the 25th, the Rexton Sports (local name Musso) was selected as the 'Best Pick-up' for the third consecutive year in the 'Top 50 Cars of the Year 2021 Awards' by the UK automotive magazine DieselCar & EcoCar Magazine.

The judging panel stated the reason for selection, saying, "The Rexton Sports is a highly capable pickup that has everything: impressive cargo space, excellent towing capability, powerful performance, superior convenience features, and a reasonable price."

Earlier this year, the Rexton Sports was awarded 'Best Pick-up' in the 'What Car? Car of the Year 2021 Awards' hosted by What Car, the most prestigious automotive magazine in Europe, and was also selected for the third consecutive year in the 'Best Value' and 'Best Individual Model' categories at the 'Pick-up of the Year 2021' awards hosted by 4X4, a four-wheel-drive automotive magazine.

SsangYong Motor stated that despite the COVID-19 pandemic situation, it is confirming its position based on product quality and marketability and plans to strengthen growth momentum in overseas markets. Since last month, SsangYong Motor has successively launched 'The New Rexton Sports & Khan' in New Zealand, Chile, Australia, and the UK.
