Government to Hold 'Korea-ADB Urban Development Forum' Online for Five Days Starting from the 28th

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced on the 24th that it will jointly hold the 'Korea-ADB Urban Development Forum' online from the 28th of this month to the 2nd of next month with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Export-Import Bank of Korea, and the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement.

This forum was planned to share Korea's accumulated urban development experience and know-how with ADB to be utilized in urban infrastructure planning and project development in developing countries in Asia.

Under the theme of 'Smart Technology-Based Urban Development,' the forum will be divided into five sessions by detailed topics.

On the first day, ADB officials will explain ADB's areas of interest related to urban development, the ADB procurement system, and procedures for participating in bidding, and discuss ways for Korean companies to participate in ADB projects.

From the 2nd to the 5th day, Korean companies and institutions will introduce Korea's smart technologies and development policies in promising fields such as digital solutions, water resources, energy, and transportation, and explore implementation plans linked to ADB projects with ADB officials.

Companies interested in urban development projects and entering the overseas procurement market can participate in the forum by pre-registering on the Export-Import Bank of Korea website.
