Chanel Opens ‘CHANEL FACTORY 5’ Pop-Up Store... Featuring 17 Collection Items

Chanel is opening the ‘CHANEL FACTORY 5’ pop-up store to celebrate the 100-year legacy of N°5.

Running from June 30 to July 18, the CHANEL FACTORY 5 pop-up store is designed to commemorate the eternal youth of N°5, which has continuously evolved over the past century, bringing surprise and joy to the public. It will unveil a new limited edition collection, ‘CHANEL FACTORY 5,’ consisting of a total of 17 products.

The Chanel pop-up store will be decorated in a way that harmonizes the iconic black & white colors of N°5 with the colorful imagery of pop art, reflecting N°5’s similar approach of incorporating everyday objects into works of art.

Visitors can explore three everyday life spaces: the kitchen, the mechanic workshop, and the painting studio. According to the company, everyday objects such as various colored paints and paint cans in the painting studio, tea boxes and kitchen detergents in the kitchen, ice cream cones, and mechanic oils and tapes in the workshop are delivered by a mechanical conveyor belt to the hands of skilled Chanel artisans, who carry on the excellent tradition and transform them into N°5 items, offering a special experience of the creation process.

CHANEL FACTORY 5 embodies the intention to assign N°5’s identity to industrial and everyday objects that we easily encounter in daily life, turning them into valuable luxury products.”

Meanwhile, the CHANEL FACTORY 5 pop-up store offers not only interesting and unique demonstrations following various production line workshops but also engaging experiences and services for visitors, such as the FACTORY station experience and the FACTORY lucky ticket event. The event will be held at S FACTORY in Seongsu-dong.
