At this demonstration, the sowing of Seonpungkong and Aramkong seeds, which are easy to harvest mechanically, and the eco-friendly biodegradable film mulching process were simultaneously showcased.
The county plans to establish a 41-hectare soybean production complex as a pilot project to expand paddy crop cultivation and build an eco-friendly legume production base.
This year, with a budget of 96 million KRW, support will be provided for eco-friendly soybean seeds, biodegradable film, pest control using drones, mechanized cultivation technologies such as film mulchers, and harvest combines to reduce production costs.
Kim Soon-ho, Governor of Gurye-gun, stated, “We will do our best to make eco-friendly soybeans a representative income crop of our Gurye-gun by establishing a foundation for supplying various eco-friendly agricultural products.”
