54 Fintech Companies Hiring Over 170 Employees

According to the Financial Services Commission on the 24th, since the simultaneous online and offline opening of Korea Fintech Week 2021 on the 26th of last month, 250,000 people have visited the homepage and viewed more than 1.44 million pages.

Offline events included the opening ceremony and keynote speeches, fintech policy briefings, demonstrations of fintech companies' services, and an IR (Investor Relations) contest. Online, investor meetings, actual recruitment procedures of fintech companies, exhibitions of services from 146 fintech companies and financial institutions, and 14 seminars were held, creating a platform for investment, recruitment, and experience.

In particular, five fintech companies raised a total of 8.2 billion KRW in investment through the IR contest. Through online investor meetings and various preliminary events, 24 fintech companies raised a total of 125.5 billion KRW in investment.

Additionally, 54 fintech companies, financial institutions, and related organizations conducted online recruitment briefings, and actual recruitment procedures of fintech companies were carried out, planning to hire up to about 170 people.

Furthermore, 39 overseas fintech companies, financial institutions, and investors from 13 countries participated in the online exhibition, providing opportunities for fintech companies to expand overseas and foster global cooperation.
