KB Kookmin Card Launches 'Easy Shopping Card'... "Up to 45,000 KRW Monthly Benefits"

Earn 10% Points on Payment Amounts When Using Online Shopping Malls, Large Mart, Social Commerce, and Department Stores

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 24th that it has launched two types of 'KB Kookmin Easy Shopping Card' that offer up to 45,000 points per month for point accumulation benefits when using selected services and shopping sectors both online and offline, such as online shopping malls and large supermarkets.

This card features a 10% point accumulation on payment amounts in major online and offline shopping sectors including online shopping malls, large supermarkets, social commerce, and department stores, and allows users to choose one of three frequently used daily life areas?apartment management fees, convenience stores, or delivery applications (apps)?to accumulate 5% of the payment amount as points.

First, if the previous month's usage amount is 500,000 KRW or more, 10% of the payment amount is accumulated as points when using online shopping malls (11st, Auction, Gmarket), large supermarkets (E-Mart, Lotte Mart, Homeplus), social commerce (Coupang, Wemakeprice, Tmon), and department stores (Lotte, Hyundai, Shinsegae) in the online and offline shopping sectors.

Points are accumulated up to a maximum of 10,000 points per month for previous month usage of 500,000 KRW or more, up to 15,000 points per month for 1,000,000 KRW or more, and up to 20,000 points per month for 1,500,000 KRW or more.

When issued as the 'KB Kookmin Easy Shopping Titanium Card' and with previous month usage of 500,000 KRW or more, points can be accumulated up to 15,000 points per month, up to 25,000 points per month for 1,000,000 KRW or more, and up to 35,000 points per month for 1,500,000 KRW or more.

Also, if the previous month usage is 500,000 KRW or more, users can accumulate 5% of the payment amount as points within a maximum of 5,000 points per month for one selected area among apartment management fee automatic payment, convenience stores (GS25, CU, Seven Eleven), or delivery apps (Baedal Minjok, Yogiyo, Market Kurly). The selected area can be changed once a month via the website, mobile app, or customer center.

If this card is registered with 'KB Pay' and used at online shopping malls, an additional 5% of the payment amount can be accumulated as points up to a maximum of 5,000 points per month.

For the KB Kookmin Easy Shopping Titanium Card, if the previous month usage is 300,000 KRW or more, users can also use the Incheon Airport lounge service (twice a year) and valet parking services at Incheon Airport and major domestic hotels (3 times per month, 12 times per year) free of charge.

The annual fee is 15,000 KRW for the 'KB Kookmin Easy Shopping Card' and 30,000 KRW for the 'KB Kookmin Easy Shopping Titanium Card.' If issued as a mobile-only card registered on a smartphone without issuing a physical plastic card, the annual fees are 9,000 KRW and 24,000 KRW respectively.
