Jangheung-gun Presents Musical 'Remember Today' for Weary Residents

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Jeong Jong-sun) announced on the 23rd that the musical performance "Remember Today," an excellent performance program by a private art group selected for the '2021 Culture Sharing Across the Country with Arts Centers Contest,' will be held on the 8th of next month at 7:30 PM at the Jangheung Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater, in compliance with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.

The Culture Sharing Across the Country Contest is hosted by the Korea Arts & Culture Centers Association and is a nationwide contest aimed at providing local residents with opportunities to enjoy performing arts culture and revitalizing arts centers.

Jangheung-gun had six excellent performances selected in the 2021 Culture Sharing Across the Country Contest, and in November, to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the martyrdom of An Jung-geun, the musical "That Autumn" is scheduled to be performed to carry on his spirit.

The upcoming performance "Remember Today" is a romantic comedy stage based on the theme of comedians, portraying their passion, dreams, and love.

Famous comedians will appear live on stage to deliver both emotion and fun, and it is expected to help the audience refresh and relieve stress accumulated in daily life.

Meanwhile, to prevent external COVID-19 inflow, tickets will be sold exclusively to Jangheung residents (ID verification required) starting at 9 AM on the 29th via the unmanned ticket vending machines at the Jangheung Culture and Arts Center, with a limit of 100 seats available.

Governor Jeong Jong-sun expressed, "I hope this musical performance will be a time of comfort and healing for the residents exhausted by COVID-19."
