Welcron Healthcare Exports 1 Million KF94 Masks to Ecuador

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Wellcron Healthcare, a hygiene product specialist company, announced on the 23rd that it will export its mask product, the ‘CareOn Basic Mask KF94,’ which has obtained European CE certification, to Ecuador.

According to Wellcron Healthcare, through this contract, approximately 1 million CareOn Basic Mask KF94 units will be supplied to distributors in Ecuador. This product is expected to be distributed through local offline drugstores. Previously, Wellcron Healthcare recorded its second overseas mask export performance after exporting the 'CareOn SafeMedi KF94' to the United States in March.

The CareOn Basic Mask KF94 has acquired the CE certification, an integrated standard certification mark indicating compliance with the European Union (EU) directives related to safety, health, environment, and consumer protection. To sell safety-related products to consumers in Europe, obtaining this certification is mandatory.

This product is characterized by being made with Wellcron’s high-efficiency ‘Meltblown (MB)’ filter. With a BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency) of 99%, it can protect the human body from various bacteria and infectious agents. Additionally, it received the highest rating of ‘Excellent’ from the German Dermatological Institute’s ‘Dermatest.’ In particular, Wellcron Healthcare explained that the mask material applies the ‘Aquatrans’ technique, which quickly absorbs and releases moisture, making it fresh even after long hours of wear and reducing fogging on glasses.

A Wellcron Healthcare official stated, “Export inquiries for CareOn masks are increasing worldwide,” and added, “We will actively respond to requests from countries in need of high-quality masks through our CareOn masks, which have obtained CE certification and FDA registration.”
