[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Kumho Construction will supply 3,791 housing units in the second half of the year. The total supply volume for this year is 6,946 units, an increase of about 70% compared to last year (4,170 units).
Kumho Construction announced on the 23rd that it smoothly completed the supply of 3,155 units in the first half and is preparing to supply 3,791 units in the second half. Among the four complexes supplied in the first half of this year, Kumho Construction succeeded in selling out 100% of the contracts in three complexes.
In January, Kumho Construction's first supply of the year, 'Sejong Richensia Familier' in H2 and H3 blocks of Sejong Administrative City, was completely sold out. In February, 'Daebonggyo Station Kumho Eoullim Edu River' in Daegu and in March, 'Hongcheon Kumho Eoullim The First' in Gangwon-do also achieved 100% contract completion.
In Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, an area with a relatively high unsold rate, the 'Pocheon Kumho Eoullim Central' complex supplied last month succeeded in closing all types within the ranking.
Kumho Construction plans to continue supplying in the first half starting with the supply of 'Gangseo Kumho Eoullim Firstier' in Seoul's Newlywed Hope Town. Along with strong sales performance, the business portfolio is also changing, with the proportion of highly profitable housing projects gradually increasing. The housing sector, which accounted for 36% of total sales last year, has risen to 50% this year. Kumho Construction is also steadily accumulating orders in overseas projects. Starting with the 'Vietnam Len River Irrigation Facility Improvement Project' in January, it succeeded in winning the contract for the 'Banteay Meanchey Irrigation Development and Flood Damage Reduction Project' in Cambodia this month.
