HiteJinro Launches 13 Varieties of Southern France Wine 'Jeff Carrel'

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] HiteJinro announced on the 23rd that it will launch 13 types of Jeff Carrel wines produced in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France. Jeff Carrel is a producer who pursues 'naturalism' while preferring the diversity of wine and the personality of the soil.

Jeff Carrel, who was famous as a wine consulting expert, discovered highly potential soils located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France in 2007 to develop wines under his own name, enabling him to create wines with differentiated brewing methods.

The wines introduced this time are also special. They range from Mediterranean wines, orange wines, organic wines to daily wines with good taste and aroma.

‘Jeff Carrel Rabette,’ which expresses the unique aroma of the Mediterranean well, is a red wine blended with 75% Syrah, 15% Carignan, and 10% Grenache. ‘Jeff Carrel Chagri’ is an orange wine made from 100% Grenache Gris grapes, limited to 5,000 bottles per year.

‘Jeff Carrel Planlavie’ is an organic white wine made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It won a gold medal for the 2019 vintage from the famous wine review institution and magazine ‘Gilbert & Gaillard.’

The 13 types of Jeff Carrel wines are sold through wine shops at Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch, Hyundai Department Store (Mokdong Branch, Pangyo Branch, Cheonho Branch), and Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo Branch.
