Our Agricultural Products with Our Own Hands! Positive Response to 'Local Food Activation Education'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Gyeongsangnam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services will conduct a 'Local Food Activation Training' on the 23rd and 24th for 60 farmers participating in public meals and those who wish to participate.


This training aims to establish a local-centered food system in parallel with the 'Gyeongnam Food 2030 Innovation Strategy' and to foster sustainable agriculture in Gyeongsangnam-do.


The training incorporates field stories from industry practitioners related to local food, receiving great responses from the farmer trainees.


Jung Jaemin, Director of the Gyeongsangnam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services, stated, "I hope this will serve as an opportunity for farmers to take the lead in producing food locally and creating a virtuous cycle, thereby providing safe and healthy food to the residents."
