Asiana Airlines "Use Mileage to Purchase New Products Every Week"


[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Asiana Airlines announced on the 22nd that it has launched the mobile application for its mileage shopping mall 'Weekly Deals.' Previously, 'Weekly Deals' products could only be purchased on the Asiana Airlines website, but now they can also be purchased through the mobile app.


Asiana Airlines' 'Weekly Deals' is a mileage-exclusive shopping mall that offers products purchasable with mileage to its members, showcasing various mileage partnership products every week. Purchased products are received as mobile vouchers for convenient use.


To commemorate the opening of the mobile app, the company will hold a 'Mobile Exclusive 50% Discount Event' on popular products starting from 2 PM on the same day. However, the event will automatically end once the limited quantity is sold out. Customers who purchase through the 'Weekly Deals' mobile app by the 30th will also be entered into a draw to win a Starbucks Americano.


Asiana Airlines stated, "We are making efforts to diversify our partners to help customers use their mileage," adding, "We will continue to develop products that reflect consumers' tastes and trends, as well as products that actively utilize small amounts of mileage."


Meanwhile, Asiana Airlines is working to enhance member convenience by extending mileage validity periods and elite membership qualifications by one year due to COVID-19, and is expanding mileage usage opportunities through various partners such as CGV, E-mart, Everland, resorts, and travel agencies.
