Asiana Airlines Successfully Completes Pre-Cabin Crew Experience Flight

A student participating in the Asiana Airlines university student flight attendant experience flight is practicing UNICEF fundraising announcements inside the aircraft cabin.

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Asiana Airlines announced on the 21st that it conducted a cabin crew experience flight course for 70 students from Incheon Jaeneung University who dream of becoming flight attendants.

The 'Becoming Cabin Crew' course was divided into a tour of the Asiana Airlines Training Center and in-flight practice, lasting a total of 7 hours. The experience flight was operated as a charter flight exclusively for Incheon Jaeneung University students.

The students participating in the experience flight wore Asiana Airlines cabin crew uniforms at the training center, toured the safety and service training facilities, and received pre-briefings including safety and security instructions before boarding the aircraft. After boarding, they experienced basic safety duties performed by cabin crew, announcements, and passenger boarding guidance together with instructors, and concluded by attending a debriefing reviewing any unusual events during the flight. Asiana Airlines presented certificates of completion and souvenirs to all participating students.

The experience flight was conducted in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines such as wearing masks and gloves and measuring body temperature. Asiana Airlines plans to conduct a second cabin crew experience flight on the 25th with 100 students from Gwangju Women's University.

Minhee Seo, an Asiana Airlines instructor flight attendant (purser), said, "I hope this experience flight was a meaningful time for students dreaming of becoming cabin crew," adding, "We felt very proud and rewarded to be able to join them in their challenge toward their dreams."
