Hyundai Engineering Launches Two 'Hyundai Terra Tower' Knowledge Industry Centers in Goyang and Guri

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Hyundai Engineering announced on the 20th that it opened the model house for the knowledge industry center ‘Hyundai Terra Tower’ located in Hyangdong District, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, and Galmae-dong, Guri City on the 18th, and will begin full-scale sales.

‘Hyundai Terra Tower DMC,’ located on the urban support facility site in Hyangdong District, will be built with a total floor area of 138,482m², ranging from two basement floors to 15 floors above ground, and will include a knowledge industry center and neighborhood living facilities. This size is equivalent to about 19 times the total area inside the lines of Sangam World Cup Stadium.

Each floor will feature rest areas where workers can take breaks, along with various community facilities. The first floor of the complex will consist of a fountain plaza, walking paths, and a kids park, while the 7th floor will have a ‘Work-Life Balance Rooftop’ space with approximately 140m jogging track, landscaping facilities, rest areas, and a cafeteria. The rooftop space on the 11th floor is planned as a ‘Sky Park’ featuring an observation deck, rest areas, stretching decks, and landscaping facilities, allowing for a relaxing healing experience. A fitness center, cafeteria, shared lounge, floor rest areas, and small meeting rooms will also be provided.

The subscription schedule will accept applications from the 23rd to the 25th, and official contracts will be signed over three days from the 28th to the 30th.

‘Hyundai Terra Tower Guri Galmae’ will be developed as a complex business center with a total floor area of approximately 103,805㎡, ranging from two basement floors to 10 floors above ground.

In response to the recent increase in one-person startups, a small-scale specialized product combining work and rest functions will be created as live offices. Live offices will be introduced as complex offices where work and rest are possible, with restrooms and lofts installed within the office space.

From the 2nd basement floor to the 8th floor above ground, it will be developed as a drive-in knowledge industry center with high work efficiency, allowing direct logistics movement by cargo vehicles. It is optimized for logistics movement with a straight ramp and door-to-door system, and a high floor height of up to 6 meters will be applied to secure space utilization as well as a wide sense of openness.

Additionally, the top floors, from the 9th to the 10th floor above ground, will be developed as office-type knowledge industry centers with an open and expansive feel to enhance work efficiency. Some units will feature terrace designs, and various unit sizes will be planned to allow companies to choose according to their scale.

Ample community spaces will also be arranged to consider the employees of tenant companies. Various community facilities such as seminar rooms, community lounges, screen golf courses, fitness rooms, shower rooms, club lounges, rest areas, and meeting rooms will be created within the complex. Furthermore, green resting spaces will be established to provide a pleasant natural environment, including a maple garden on the 2nd basement floor, a community garden on the 1st floor, a square garden on the 8th floor, and a garden of light on the 9th floor.
