Samsung to Launch Two Mid-Range Tablets Including 'Galaxy Tab S7 FE' in India on 23rd

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Samsung Electronics will begin sales of its mid-range tablets 'Galaxy Tab S7 FE (Fan Edition)' and 'Galaxy Tab A7 Lite' in the Indian market.


On the 18th (local time), IT specialist media SamMobile reported that Samsung Electronics will start selling the Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in India from the 23rd.


According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE comes in two models: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at 46,999 rupees (approximately 720,000 KRW) and 50,999 rupees (approximately 780,000 KRW), respectively. The colors available are black, green, pink, and silver. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Wi-Fi-only model is priced at 11,999 rupees (approximately 180,000 KRW), and the LTE model at 14,999 rupees (approximately 230,000 KRW). Both have a memory configuration of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The colors available are gray and silver.


The Galaxy Tab S7 FE features a 12.4-inch TFT LCD display and comes with a stylus pen (S Pen). Memory can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The application processor (AP) is Qualcomm's mid-range 5G-supported Snapdragon 750G. The battery capacity is 10,090mAh and supports 45W fast charging. The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite supports an 8.7-inch TFT LCD display. Like the FE model, it supports the S Pen and 1TB SD card memory expansion, with a battery capacity of 5100mAh.


Earlier, on the 27th of last month, Samsung Electronics announced through its global newsroom the launch of two budget tablets, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. This is the first time Samsung has added an FE model to its tablet lineup. The FE is a model with some downgraded specifications but the same design as premium products, maintaining the design and functions of premium products while offering a relatively lower price, gaining popularity. Samsung Electronics has completed its product lineup by adding FE models to the existing Galaxy Tab S series and Lite models to the A series, covering various price ranges.
