US New Unemployment Claims at 410,000... Exceed Expectations

This is an increase of 37,000 claims compared to the previous week, marking a rise for the first time in seven weeks. It is also the first time in three weeks that new unemployment claims have exceeded 400,000.

The number of claims surpassed the expert forecast of 360,000 compiled by Bloomberg News.
