Jeong Seung-il, KEPCO President, Inspects On-site Facilities for Stable Summer Power Supply

Jeong Seung-il, President of KEPCO (center), visited the KEPCO Gangnam Distribution Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul on the 17th to check the preparation status for stable power supply during the summer and to inspect the safety and security readiness of power facilities.

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] Jeong Seung-il, President of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), visited the Gangnam Distribution Center located in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 17th to inspect the safety and security preparedness of on-site equipment and major power facilities for stable power supply during the summer.

At this event, President Jeong checked power supply facilities and emergency fault recovery response systems, urging all to do their best to ensure a stable power supply during the summer period.

KEPCO is conducting special inspections to ensure stable power supply during the summer. Safety activities are being strengthened, including comprehensive inspections of power facilities in multi-use facilities and operating an internal patrol team to prevent industrial accidents at construction sites.
