[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Authentication security startup Senstone announced on the 17th that it will launch the all-in-one authentication security software development kit (SDK) 'swIDch Auth SDK', which was introduced domestically last March, in global markets including the United Kingdom.
Senstone's swIDch Auth SDK provides all three major authentication security functions: biometric authentication based on the international standard FIDO (Fast Identity Online), mobile one-time password (OTP) for two-factor authentication, and OTAC (One-Time Authentication Code) login authentication independently developed by Senstone. Since the already verified authentication security technology can be quickly applied to systems, it has the advantage of efficiently incorporating authentication security functions from the solution development and system construction stages without research and development costs.
Senstone is strengthening its development and support personnel to enhance overseas customer service following the official launch of the global swIDch Developer Center centered on its UK subsidiary, swIDch. The company intends to lead the popularization of global authentication security technology through an aggressive supply policy, just as it has done domestically.
Thanks to Senstone's active market strategy, the Senstone Developer Center has surpassed 250 subscribers within three months of its launch. According to the company, there are not only system integration (SI) companies and security solution companies but also many institutions and corporate officials who want to directly apply authentication security functions.
The number of new customers is also increasing. In addition to companies already developing solutions using Senstone's SDK, the number of trial users who can directly try basic FIDO functions on Senstone's test server is also growing.
Yoo Chang-hoon, CEO of Senstone, said, "I am pleased that the swIDch Auth SDK, announced with the ambition to establish ourselves as a contributor rather than a disruptor in the authentication security market, is gaining ground," adding, "We will create a new order so that Korean authentication security technology can lead market popularization on the global stage."
