MOU Signed on the 17th to Produce and Develop Online Educational Content
Collaboration on AI-Integrated Online Content Production and Overseas Market Expansion
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Universities and educational companies have joined hands to develop educational content involving artificial intelligence.
Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with the well-known domestic educational company YBM (Chairman Min Seon-sik) for global educational cooperation.
The signing ceremony took place on the 17th at the Global Room on the 11th floor of the New Millennium Building at Dongseo University, attended by President Jang Je-guk, Vice President for Academic Affairs Nam Ho-soo, YBM Chairman Min Seon-sik, YBMnet CEO Oh Jae-hwan, and officials from both organizations.
Both parties agreed to create a joint educational curriculum that meets the demands of domestic and international education markets.
They also agreed to jointly develop educational content applying an artificial intelligence (AI) customized education system.
Dongseo University will provide educational content, while YBMnet will cooperate by providing equipment and facilities capable of producing videos. They also plan to jointly build an online conversion of the content and a Learning Management System (LMS).
They intend to revise and supplement the Korean language educational content owned by both institutions to plan and develop new products. Through this content, they aim to pioneer overseas market channels and enable international students at domestic universities to learn Korean language courses.
President Jang Je-guk of Dongseo University said, “It has become possible to develop adaptive class content incorporating AI, and we plan to provide a new form of advanced educational content both domestically and internationally in the future.”
