[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 17th, Jeong Cheong-rae, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, launched harsh criticism at Yoon Seok-yeol, a leading opposition presidential candidate, asking, "Is a big figure a great politician?"

On the same day, Jeong posted on his Facebook under the title "Is a big figure a great politician?" stating, "I criticize Yoon Seok-yeol's arrogance and recklessness."

He said, "When the people raise various issues, one should sincerely explain 'this is the cause and that is the effect,' but is he going to block his ears and shut his mouth?" and questioned, "Isn't this an act of disregarding the people?"

Earlier, Yoon, through spokesperson Lee Dong-hoon, sent a message to the press saying, "I will only think about big politics that can unite the people and solve national tasks," and "I will just go my own way and do my own work."

Regarding this, Jeong pointed out, "Isn't it common sense to proactively explain 'this is the issue with the mother-in-law and that is the issue with the wife'?" and added, "Regarding the controversy over the horizon written in the guestbook or the reflection, shouldn't there be at least an expression of sincerity like 'I was ignorant about Korean spelling rules. I will study Korean diligently from now on'?"

He continued, "Isn't it common sense for a political novice who has not officially entered politics to humbly say, 'I will start with small politics'? Why talk about big politics so absurdly before even starting? Like an old-fashioned conservative who eats jajangmyeon and comes out chewing a toothpick," he criticized.

Jeong also mocked, "Is a big figure a great politician? Is a big figure big politics? Before talking about big politics, return to common sense," and said, "If you are going to block your ears and shut your mouth to the people's voices, it is better to quietly open a law office. There must be a Yoon Seok-yeol faction remaining in the prosecution, so making money should be fine."

Furthermore, he concluded, "Is Ahn Cheol-soo new politics and Yoon Seok-yeol big politics? Just as Ahn Cheol-soo did not understand new politics, does Yoon Seok-yeol understand big politics? What big politics?"
