On the 10th (Thursday), MK Gloria Group, through its affiliate Dream Beer Co., Ltd., launched and began exclusive domestic supply of 'Zhujiang Beer,' one of China's top three beers recognized worldwide, 'Panda Eyes Honey Ale,' known as the best beer for beginners, and 'Panda Gyulpi Wheat Beer,' a wheat beer that is easy to enjoy for all ages.
An industry official stated, "Among the numerous beers produced in China, 'Zhujiang Beer,' recognized by many beer enthusiasts as one of China's top three beers, is a lager-style beer with a traditional yet smooth taste and a unique malt flavor. It is brewed using only high-quality ingredients selected and crafted in the traditional European method," adding, "It has a clean yet deep flavor, with a moderate bitterness and the distinctive refreshing taste of beer, enhanced by malt, hops, and rice, boasting an exceptionally smooth finish as the finest beer."
The newly released craft beer, 'Panda Eyes Honey Ale,' is the first creation of Panda Brewery and represents the brewery. It is said to have been inspired by the White House Honey Brown Ale, which was created by White House staff during President Obama's inauguration.
According to the company, 'Panda Eyes Honey Ale' perfectly balances the standards of craft beer: ABV (Alcohol by Volume), IBU (International Bittering Unit), and SRM (Standard Reference Method). Starting with a visually heavy body and finishing smoothly, even a single sip reveals it as a top-quality beer, making it an easy-to-enjoy choice for beer beginners.
Following 'Panda Eyes Honey Ale,' the 'Panda Gyulpi Wheat Beer' was released. This craft beer captures the typical nuances of clove and orange peel aromas found in Belgian wheat beer styles, showcasing Panda Brewery's unique character. 'Panda Gyulpi Wheat Beer' includes coriander, wheat, and citrus peel, offering a refreshing taste and smooth finish, making it a wheat beer that anyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy without burden.
Chairman Jang Minki of MK Gloria Co., Ltd. said, "The domestic distribution market is already globalized, which is a harsh reality, and I believe that future business cannot attract consumers with items that are the same or lack competitiveness." He explained the significance of the launch, stating, "Although there are countless domestic and imported beers in Korea, we judged that the high-quality 'Zhujiang Beer,' which insists on carefully selected ingredients, has the competitiveness to surpass the 'Tsingtao Beer' myth, leading us to pursue an exclusive domestic supply contract for 'Zhujiang Beer.'"
With a large logistics warehouse secured, 'Zhujiang Beer' and 'Panda Eyes Honey Ale' are rapidly and uniquely enhancing product competitiveness and recognition among consumers through detailed promotional marketing strategies typical of a management consulting specialist company, including sponsorship of major department stores, large marts, and popular drama productions.
