Ottogi Publishes '2021 Sustainable Management Report'... Accelerating ESG Management

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Ottogi announced on the 17th that it has published the 2021 Sustainability Management Report titled "Ottogi Together with the World through a Healthy Food Culture," which contains the achievements and plans of sustainable management to strengthen ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management.

The 2021 Sustainability Management Report is the second sustainability report following the inaugural issue published in 2019 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ottogi's founding. Ottogi reflects its ongoing sustainable management activities and future vision in the report, striving to communicate with various stakeholders.

The main contents of this report include activities, achievements, and goals related to six core ESG issues: ▲product development considering sustainability ▲contribution to the circular economy ▲response to changes in consumer lifestyles ▲development of products and services considering customer health ▲food and product safety ▲expansion of global competitiveness. Each topic was derived through internal review based on social interest and business impact.

Through this report, Ottogi expressed its commitment to sustainable management by presenting activities and plans based on its management philosophy of "contributing to the improvement of human dietary life with better quality, higher nutrition, and more advanced food." Additionally, a separate section was created to detail Ottogi's ESG management status, including governance and ethical management, stakeholder engagement, and materiality assessment.

An Ottogi official stated, "Ottogi pursues sustainable management that practices customer satisfaction and social contribution based on stable organizational management and growth, and further contributes to the common development of humanity," adding, "We will continue to strengthen the ESG management system by communicating with various stakeholders to fulfill the company's environmental and social responsibilities."
