Guri-si Single-Person Households Account for 32.6% of Total Households
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Guri City in Gyeonggi Province is conducting a survey to establish policies for single-person households.
On the 16th, Guri City stated, "Single-person households account for 32.6% of all households in Guri City, representing a significant portion of household types. Until now, many policies have focused on multi-person households."
The survey will be conducted on 500 Guri citizens selected based on population proportion by neighborhood, gender, and age group. Professional counselors will visit them in person to conduct the survey. If an in-person meeting is not possible, the survey will be conducted via phone or mail.
The survey covers a total of 37 questions across 7 topics: ▲Life of single-person households ▲Economic activities and income ▲Housing environment and safety/health status ▲Social relationships and leisure activities ▲Support policies for single-person households ▲Personal information.
The city plans to analyze the survey results to derive practical policy directions for single-person households and reflect them in the basic plan.
