Yoon Jong-won, CEO of Industrial Bank of Korea, Visits Gangwon Province: "We Will Provide Customized Support Based on Company Situations"

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Yoon Jong-won, President of IBK Industrial Bank, visited the Wonju and Icheon areas to continue communication with client SMEs and listen to voices from the sales field.

On the 16th, IBK Industrial Bank announced that President Yoon visited Seoul F&B located in Wonju, Gangwon Province, and Happy L&B located in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province the day before.

After visiting Seoul F&B, which produces over 130 different dairy products, President Yoon said, “The 25% annual growth since its establishment in 2005 has been possible because of a clear management philosophy actively practicing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management,” adding, “I hope the company continues to grow sustainably together with IBK.”

President Yoon then visited Happy L&B, a company recognized for its technology in the global market by developing lifestyle medical devices such as bedding-type medical devices and automatic warmers, as well as individually packaged disposable cosmetics. Hearing on-site voices about difficulties in exporting medical devices due to the spread of COVID-19, President Yoon responded, “If the IBK Financial Doctor program, which provides customized support programs after a comprehensive diagnosis of a company’s management and financial status, is introduced, it will be able to offer assistance.”

Along with the company visits, President Yoon also visited branches in the Icheon and Wonju areas to encourage employees. An IBK Industrial Bank official said, “President Yoon listened to the difficulties of employees working in remote areas who endure long commutes,” adding, “It was a field visit to reflect these issues in system improvements.”
