E&Corporation Acquires Additional Liquid Designated Waste Treatment Facility

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] EN Corporation announced on the 16th that its subsidiary Eclean Water will acquire the business operations of EN Chemical Co., Ltd.'s Dangjin plant.


EN Corporation signed a contract to acquire the Dangjin plant of EN Chemical through its subsidiary Eclean Water for 15 billion KRW. The Dangjin plant holds the highest level of permits for waste and wastewater consignment treatment in Korea. Recently, new facilities were expanded to enhance water treatment stability.


EN Corporation has built a portfolio that covers the entire water treatment industry, including Hanseong Cleantec's water treatment EPC business division and the designated liquid waste and wastewater consignment treatment business areas of Inbiotech and EN Chemical.


It is expected to create synergy with Inbiotech, which completed its business acquisition in May. It has secured the largest permits for designated liquid waste and wastewater consignment treatment in Korea. The company plans to lead the industrial water treatment market by promoting market advancement and differentiation.


An EN Corporation official stated, "We have secured a total water treatment solution infrastructure capable of supplying semiconductor ultrapure water, wastewater consignment treatment, and liquid waste treatment," adding, "We will strengthen synergy through continuous expansion of related business areas and grow into the number one company in the industrial water treatment sector this year."
