'Lee Jun-seok's Handwriting' "Truly a Masterful Pen!" Mocked by Min Kyung-wook
Kim Geun-sik Points Out "Are You Jealous?"
"Why Would I Be Jealous?" Rebuttal
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] Professor Kim Geunsik of Gyeongnam National University, who is the head of the People Power Party's Songpa-byeong district committee in Seoul, criticized former People Power Party lawmaker Min Kyungwook on the 15th, calling him "an old fogey who cannot relate to the handwriting and phrases of the MZ generation." This was a counter-response to Min's earlier criticism of People Power Party leader Lee Junseok's handwriting.
On the same day, Professor Kim wrote on his Facebook, "Former lawmaker Min Kyungwook, please stop. After fighting with the ghost of baseless election fraud all year long, now that the People Power Party is finally being praised, are you sprinkling chili powder again?"
Earlier, on the 14th, former lawmaker Min shared a photo of the guestbook left by Lee Junseok after visiting the National Daejeon Memorial Cemetery on Facebook, posting a sarcastic comment.
He mocked Lee's handwriting, saying, "His handwriting is truly excellent," and added, "Our ancestors regarded a person's handwriting as the third criterion to judge their character. Is the handwriting of the digital generation, the computer generation, always like this?"
In response, Professor Kim said, "Healthy debate and discussion within the party are always welcome, but what kind of mindset is it to pick on the party leader's handwriting and phrases?" He criticized, "Complaining about the handwriting of a young party leader is nothing but jealousy and nitpicking."
He added, "Criticizing from an old fogey's perspective is exactly the old fogey culture that our party urgently needs to overcome," and said, "It is proper to refrain from internal bickering."
He further stated, "If you want to pick fights over trivial issues, first scold Democratic Party lawmaker Choi Minhee for nitpicking Lee Junseok's use of the public bicycle 'Ddarungi.' If anyone fits Choi Minhee, it is former lawmaker Min Kyungwook," and reiterated, "It is proper to refrain from internal bickering."
Lawmaker Choi had previously said, when Lee's use of the public bicycle 'Ddarungi' to commute to the National Assembly became a topic, "Just walk. There's no need to ride Ddarungi."

Meanwhile, in response to Professor Kim's criticism, former lawmaker Min retorted, "Why should I be jealous no matter what Lee Junseok becomes?"
On the same day, Min posted again on Facebook, saying, "I was someone who strongly insisted that Lee Junseok should never become the leader," and questioned, "So if Lee Junseok became the leader, it is a headache for me, not jealousy."
He also referred to Lee as "the party leader claimant," and claimed, "I did not start the dispute over handwriting and phrases. Everyone pointed it out but stayed silent, and only when I wrote about it did the media pay attention."
