[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 15th that employees from the Information Security Department visited a village located within the Civilian Control Line (Minutongsun) in Wangjing-myeon, Yeoncheon-gun, to assist with farm work during the farming season.
The assistance, conducted the previous day, involved 10 employees from the Information Security Department who participated in side-branch pruning at a chili pepper farm and carried out environmental cleanup activities such as collecting agricultural waste materials and discarded plastic films.
Kim Seonggyun, head of the Information Security Department, said, “This was prepared to support farms facing difficulties such as labor shortages due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” adding, “We will take the lead in realizing a 100-year Nonghyup that always stands with neighbors experiencing hardships.”
