- Taejeon and Gosan Districts Draw Attention with Successive Gwangju Transportation Benefits
- Changing Perceptions of Housing Due to COVID-19... Increasing Popularity of Expandable Detached Houses
In the newly developed planned city attracting market attention, Taijeon District in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, detached houses are being offered for sale for the first time, drawing interest. Since the area is mostly composed of apartments, the detached houses are gaining popularity as a special product.
Taijeon and Gosan Districts are Gwangju's first planned cities, newly developed on approximately 1.2 million square meters with about 19,000 households. Development began in 2015 and is now in the final stages of land preparation. Famous apartment brands such as ‘ePyeonhansesang’, ‘IPark’, ‘Hillstate’, and ‘The Sharp’ have also settled in Taijeon and Gosan Districts.
Detached houses are starting subscription today (14th) in this area mainly occupied by apartments. ‘La Sierra Taijeon’, developed by H4ret Co., Ltd. and constructed by Angang Construction Co., Ltd., is the project. It consists of 76 terrace houses with exclusive areas of 84㎡, ranging from two basement floors to four above-ground floors, and 10 neighborhood living facilities in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. The move-in date is scheduled for February 2023.
‘La Sierra Taijeon’ is planned with various types: △84A1 type with 22 units, △84A2 type with 16 units, △84B type with 35 units, △84C type with 1 unit, and △84D type with 2 units. Each household secures at least one parking space, and all types feature rooftop terraces and rooftop landscaping areas. Additionally, some types include alpha rooms and other specialized designs to provide residents with ample service space.
Besides individual household parking lots, an underground communal parking lot is also constructed. The entrances for residential areas and neighborhood living facilities are separated to prevent congestion and enhance convenience of movement. Community facilities such as a golf practice range, fitness center, shower rooms, changing rooms, and a residents’ cafe will also be operated.
The complex enjoys convenient transportation networks. Since the opening of the 2nd Yeongdong Expressway in 2016, accessibility to major areas such as Gangnam, Pangyo, and Bundang has improved in Gwangju City where the project is located. Furthermore, the Anseong?Sejong section of the Seoul?Sejong Expressway is scheduled to open in 2024, making travel to Seoul and other regions more convenient. Using National Routes 43 and 45 adjacent to the complex, quick access to nearby cities like Suwon and Yongin is possible, and entry to the Seongnam?Janghowon expressway is easy via the Taijeon Interchange.
Public transportation expansion is also planned. Using Gyeonggang Line’s Gyeonggi Gwangju Station, about 10 minutes by car from the complex, it takes about 10 minutes (3 stops) to Pangyo Station and about 30 minutes (7 stops) to Gangnam Station. Additionally, once the Suseo?Gwangju double-track railway, planned for completion in 2027, opens, it is expected to take only 12 minutes from Gyeonggi Gwangju Station to Seoul’s Suseo Station.
Meanwhile, the ‘La Sierra Taijeon’ sales gallery will be established in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province. Subscription applications start on the 14th, winners will be announced on the 15th, and official contracts will be signed over two days on the 16th and 17th.
