This collaboration was realized as the interests of both companies aligned. E-Mart needed to expand its category by securing highly recognized products, while hy was pursuing the expansion of distribution channels following its name change. Going forward, the two companies plan to jointly introduce various products that meet current trends.
R&B Premium features a dual design for gut health. It contains a total of four probiotics, including three patented probiotics for gut health and hy's representative probiotic HY2782. Each bottle guarantees 100 billion CFU. It also includes 8,500 mg of dietary fiber, equivalent to 2.5 apples. Dietary fiber, a type of prebiotic, serves as food for probiotics and helps their proliferation in the gut.
The product is available in a refreshing apple flavor and a peach mango flavor, which is a blend of peach, mango, and apple, allowing consumers to choose according to their preference. With a rich and smooth taste, it can be easily enjoyed by people of all ages. The trendy and professional packaging also catches the eye, intuitively expressing probiotics and the gut with pop art elements.
Hwang Gyu-hwan, head of hy's Multi CM Team, explained, "R&B Premium is a product that combines hy's 50 years of probiotic research technology with a refreshing taste," adding, "We will focus more on expanding distribution channels by launching customized products that meet the needs of each channel."
