[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Saemaeul Geumgo Central Association announced on the 14th that it conducted a campaign to improve awareness of people with disabilities.
According to the Central Association, the Seoul Regional Headquarters carried out the ‘MG The One (the one)’ campaign for four weeks starting from the 10th of last month. The campaign was organized to promote understanding and improve awareness of people with disabilities. The campaign involved Saemaeul Geumgo members wearing T-shirts featuring artwork by artists with developmental disabilities and posting 인증 on their personal social networking service (SNS) accounts.
Additionally, the Seoul Regional Headquarters delivered T-shirts from ‘Springshine,’ a social economy enterprise supported by the Central Association through the ‘MG Hope Sharing Social Growth Support Project,’ to 21 Saemaeul Geumgo branches in the Seoul area. Saemaeul Geumgo also independently provided supplies for people with disabilities.
Currently, Saemaeul Geumgo designates May 25th, its founding anniversary, as Regional Coexistence Day and carries out social contribution activities for the development of local communities.
