[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] Singer Lee Jang-hee appeared on SBS variety show 'Master in the House' on the 13th and shared his recent life updates.

On this episode, the 'Master in the House' members traveled to Ulleungdo to meet Lee Jang-hee, who treated the members?who had made the difficult journey to Ulleungdo?to a delicious meal featuring plenty of Ulleungdo squid in Osam Bulgogi and Ddagaebi rice.

Despite being in his 50th year since debut, Lee Jang-hee has appeared on TV fewer than ten times. When the producer asked why, Lee Jang-hee laughed and replied, "To appear on TV, you need to have something outstanding. But I don't."

He went on to say that he loves nature and lives on Ulleungdo, adding, "I fell in love with Ulleungdo." Regarding why he settled there, he said, "I thought about what I like most. In 1988, I stayed at Seoraksan for three months and saw a brilliantly shining full moon. There were also majestic rocky mountains." He added, "Seeing that magnificent scene, I realized for the first time what moment I truly liked. Music, money, and fame are good, but I found out that I love nature the most."

When the members finally arrived at Lee Jang-hee's residence, they were speechless at the enormous size of the house. Named 'Ulleung Heaven,' Lee Jang-hee's home boasts a breathtaking view. He said, "The entire area here is about 13,000 pyeong." Upon hearing that 13,000 pyeong is equivalent to the size of six soccer fields, Cha Eun-woo joked, "Isn't this the richest master among all the masters ever?" which brought laughter.

Lee Jang-hee replied, "It was a marijuana incident," and quickly concluded, "At that time, I appeared this big in the newspapers and ended up quitting singing."
