One Corpse Bound with Steel Wire Found at Reservoir in Cheongyang, Chungnam

At 11:49 a.m. on the 13th, a body of unknown identity was discovered at Chilgapsan Reservoir in Daechi-myeon, Cheongyang-gun, Chungnam. A worker performing electrical work nearby spotted an object floating on the reservoir's surface and reported it to the police.

The body, floating about 8 meters from the shore, had a 0.5 cm thick steel wire tied around the waist, but the hands and feet were not bound.

The police are having difficulty identifying the body due to its advanced state of decomposition. They plan to conduct a multifaceted investigation, including reviewing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage near the reservoir and considering the possibility of criminal involvement.
