[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Korea Electric Wire announced on the 11th that it has signed a contract with KAHRAMAA for the supply and construction of extra-high voltage cables and accessories related to the power plant construction project for the expansion of Qatar's power capacity.

The contract amount is approximately 27,720,370,000 KRW, which is about 1.74% of last year's sales. The contract period is from June 10, 2021, to April 14, 2022.
