Yeosu Ungcheon Seafront, 'Yeosu Ungcheon Gold Class The Marina', Promotional Center Successfully Opens

The ultra-high-rise high-end residential lodging facility 'Yeosu Ungcheon Gold Class The Marina,' located in the marine tourism resort city of Yeosu, successfully opened its promotional center on Friday, June 11, and will accept subscription applications until Tuesday, June 15.

Since hosting the Expo in 2012, Yeosu has established itself as a marine tourism hub city attracting 13 million tourists annually. Among its districts, the Ungcheon area is especially loved as a tourism and leisure center, boasting various tourist facilities, ocean views, and beautiful natural surroundings.

Situated right in front of the Ungcheon sea in Yeosu, 'Yeosu Ungcheon Gold Class The Marina' is a high-end residential lodging facility offering panoramic premium ocean views and access to abundant local infrastructure, which has garnered enthusiastic responses from visitors.

Nearby are the Ungcheon Waterfront Park, yacht marina, Yi Sun-sin Marina, Beach Culture Park, Yi Sun-sin Park, Odongdo Island, Dolsando Island, and beaches, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy leisure and recreational activities close to nature.

Notably, the Ungcheon district is set to become South Korea’s first marine tourism city with planned developments such as the Ungcheon-Soho Bridge construction and marina port development. It is emerging as a center for marine leisure sports and transportation. The pleasant natural environment combined with various development prospects adds to its future value expectations.

Active development projects include a national hub marina port, Ocean Queens Park, and Challenge Park. The national hub marina port, scheduled for completion in 2022 with a capacity of 300 vessels, will feature docks, repair facilities, cultural complex industrial facilities, and clubhouses. The Ungcheon-Soho sea bridge, connecting the Ungcheon and Soho districts into a single commercial area, is expected to open in July next year.

The area also offers diverse living, cultural, and leisure infrastructure. Facilities such as the Yi Sun-sin Library, CGV cinema, Starbucks, Megabox, hospitals, and planned waterfront commercial facilities are all conveniently accessible within the Ungcheon tourism and leisure business district.

Transportation conditions are excellent. Roads including Sinwol-ro, Yeoseo-ro, and the soon-to-open Ungcheon-Soho Bridge, along with KTX Yeosu Expo Station, Yeosu Airport, the central bus terminal, and the coastal passenger terminal, provide fast access to Seoul and surrounding areas.

A representative of 'Yeosu Ungcheon Gold Class The Marina' stated, "With recent intensified housing regulations, interest in residential lodging facilities has surged. 'Yeosu Ungcheon Gold Class The Marina' offers rarity with its panoramic ocean views and advantageous location benefiting from various development prospects."

'Yeosu Ungcheon Gold Class The Marina' is accepting subscription applications until Tuesday, June 15, and anyone aged 19 or older is eligible to apply. Applications are divided into three groups: Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3, with one application allowed per group. Applications for Groups 1 and 2 are accepted online, while Group 3 applications are accepted in person at the promotional center from Friday, June 11, to Tuesday, June 15. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, June 16, followed by official contracts on June 17 and 18. Reserve winners and first-come, first-served contracts will begin on Saturday, June 19.
