[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 11th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CareDoc, a startup providing elderly care brokerage services, and made a strategic investment to promote senior healthcare services.
The two companies plan to collaborate on business initiatives such as a special contract supporting caregivers and joint research on new products related to geriatric diseases.
Jung Kyu-wan, Head of Digital Strategy Division at Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance, said, "With the rapid progression into a super-aged society, the senior market in our country is also growing quickly. We will do our best to provide practical insurance services that reflect the needs of senior customers through partnerships with various startups with high growth potential, such as CareDoc."
