Dongil Construction Co., Ltd. to Promote 40 Billion KRW-Scale 'Namguro Station Daeheung Yeonrip' Reconstruction and Maintenance Project

Dongil Construction Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jun-ho), a mid-sized construction company accumulating recognition and trust with its small-scale residential brand 'Centasia,' is currently promoting a small-scale reconstruction maintenance project for Daehung Yeonrip in Guro-gu, Seoul.

Daehung Yeonrip, located near Guro-gu, Seoul, is an aging complex completed 33 years ago, consisting of four townhouse buildings from basement level 1 to ground level 3, with a total of 84 households. Dongil Construction Co., Ltd. was selected as the contractor for this small-scale reconstruction maintenance project.

The trust company is Woori Asset Trust. Earlier, Woori Asset Trust Co., Ltd. (co-CEOs Lee Chang-jae and Lee Chang-ha), after joining Woori Financial Group, signed a trust contract for the small-scale reconstruction maintenance project association of Daehung Yeonrip near Namguro Station for the first time in March last year and obtained the project agent notification.

Guro-gu Office approved the project implementation plan for the small-scale reconstruction project of Daehung Yeonrip near Namguro Station (May 14, 2021) and announced it in the district bulletin (May 20, 2021) in accordance with the government's 'Special Act on Vacant Houses and Small-scale Housing Maintenance' enacted in February 2018.

The association, with the unanimous consent of all 84 members, will present the first apartment in Garibong-dong, Guro-gu, consisting of three buildings from basement level 2 to ground level 7, totaling 162 households. The project cost is approximately 40 billion KRW. The Daehung Yeonrip small-scale reconstruction project near Namguro Station passed the architectural review in May last year and is scheduled for relocation from late June to late August, demolition and groundbreaking from September to October, and general sale around March to April 2022.

Chairperson Choi Mi-ja said, "Despite difficulties, we are prioritizing the interests of the association members and proceeding with the project, which will lead the residential culture of Garibong-dong upon completion."

The project site is located about a 4-minute walk from Namguro Station on Seoul Subway Line 7, and within about 10 to 15 minutes on foot from Guro Digital Complex Station on Line 2 and Gasan Digital Complex Station, a transfer station for Lines 1 and 7.

Nearby are public kindergartens and Guro Nam Elementary School, and convenience facilities such as E-Mart Guro Branch, Mario Outlet, and Garibong Traditional Market are close by. Located between Guro Digital Complex and Gasan Digital Complex, where approximately 158,000 workers are employed, it boasts excellent accessibility between residence and workplace, making it a location highly regarded for both sales and rental demand.

Meanwhile, Dongil Construction Co., Ltd., responsible for construction, has been known as a construction company with abundant construction experience since its founding in 1953, aiming for customer satisfaction and open management. It actively responds to future construction environments through diversification of business including civil engineering, architecture, housing, and overseas construction projects.
