Cumulative Sales Surpass 6,000 Units Since Joining in 1990
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Kia announced on the 7th that Hong Jae-seok, Sales Manager of the Chungju Branch, surpassed a cumulative sales volume of 6,000 units, becoming the company's third 'Great Master.' The Great Master is the highest honor awarded to Kia's outstanding sales staff.
Hong joined Kia in 1990 and has maintained an excellent average annual sales performance of about 190 units, surpassing a cumulative sales volume of 6,000 units this year. The company explained that it is especially significant that Hong is the first Great Master to emerge from a non-metropolitan area rather than the densely populated Seoul metropolitan area.
Kia awarded Hong a plaque along with a prize of 30 million KRW.
Hong said, "I believe I earned this honorable title as a result of valuing relationships with customers and striving to keep even small promises. I sincerely thank the customers who trusted and supported me, and I will continue to make relentless efforts to provide differentiated services."
Meanwhile, Kia operates reward systems such as the Long-term Sales Honor Award and Kia Star Awards to encourage sales staff and promote healthy sales competition.
