Jungjingong Supports Technology Export in New Fields Such as Bio with 6 Countries At the opening ceremony of the G-TEP technology exchange consultation held on the 7th, Chairman Kim Hak-do is delivering a congratulatory speech.


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Kwon Chil-seung, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced that from the 7th to the 11th, they will hold the "2021 G-TEP Technology Exchange Consultation and Seminar" to support technology export of SMEs and startups at the Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel in Guro, Seoul.


In this consultation, 41 SMEs and startups possessing new technologies in the fields of bio, IT, eco-friendly, and renewable energy will participate and conduct online consultations with about 300 technology buyers from six countries (Russia, Malaysia, India, Japan, China, Kazakhstan). SBC conducted prior surveys on technology demand with high potential for local market entry and facilitated technology matching between companies. Additionally, after the consultations, they plan to increase the success rate of technology exports by providing linked support such as contract legal review, interpretation and translation, and technology commercialization funds.


On the first day, the 7th, seminars will be held on the themes of ▲Export Strategy Based on Data ▲Practical Negotiation for Technology Transactions ▲Countermeasures Against Overseas Industrial Technology Leakage. The seminars will also be live-streamed on YouTube for free participation. Chairman Kim Hak-do said, "Technology exchange offers domestic companies opportunities for overseas expansion and allows local countries to promote industrial structure advancement and economic revitalization through technology adoption, making it a mutually beneficial overseas expansion model." He added, "I hope this G-TEP technology exchange consultation and seminar will become a platform for coexistence and cooperation between Korea and the six countries."
