The Department of Aviation Services at Digital Seoul Culture & Arts University (President Lee Yoon-seok, hereinafter referred to as Seoul Culture & Arts University) held the 1st Wing Award Ceremony on Wednesday, May 26, at the Aviation Flight Practice Room (Mock-up). The Wing Award Ceremony is an event to pledge the proper attitude, good character, and dreams necessary to grow into a prospective flight attendant.

At the event, Yook Hyo-chang, Executive Vice President of Seoul Culture & Arts University, Lee Kyung-nam, Director of Public Relations, Kim Nam-yeon, Director of Admissions, Ki Joon-sung, Director of External Cooperation, Lee Gil-ja, Head of the Department of Aviation Services, and students from the Department of Aviation Services attended to encourage freshmen aspiring to become flight attendants.
The Wing Award Ceremony began with the reading of the vision and educational philosophy by senior students, followed by a moment where the freshmen were personally awarded the ‘wing badge,’ symbolizing the aircraft wing.

Lee Gil-ja, Head of the Department of Aviation Services, said, “The meaning of the wing represents the responsibility for customer satisfaction service that aviation service professionals must have in the future and symbolizes continuous self-management for this purpose. Through the Wing Award Ceremony, I hope you become true aviation service talents.”
Jang Hyo-bin, a first-year student in the Department of Aviation Services at Seoul Culture & Arts University, said, “Through the Wing Award Ceremony, I deeply engraved the meaning of the wing explained by Head Lee Gil-ja in my heart and pledged to grow into a true aviation service talent.”
The Department of Aviation Services at Seoul Culture & Arts University, a four-year university located in Seoul, offers a differentiated curriculum including Chinese, Russian, and TOEIC Academy. It has been selected as the operating institution for the Aviation Safety Plus Lounge at Incheon and Gimpo International Airports, providing students with opportunities for field training through supporter activities.
