Gyeongnam Yangsan Disinfection Mask Specialist CEO Jeong Cheon-sik Delivers Masks and Cash on the 3rd
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Riding the wave of innovation sparked by Dongmyung University President Jeon Ho-hwan's 'Doing University,' a 'donation relay' is spreading. The baton, which was passed on by the first contributor just over a month ago, has now reached the eighth donor.
On the 3rd, Chung Cheon-sik, CEO of Blue Indus Co., Ltd., visited Dongmyung University and generously donated approximately 20 million KRW worth of the Doing (Do-ing) Talent Development Fund to the university.
The donation consists of 10 million KRW in cash and 10 million KRW worth of quarantine masks.
Blue Indus Co., Ltd., a quarantine mask specialist company established in 2008 (located in Eogok Industrial Complex, Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam), is recognized domestically and internationally for producing high-quality products.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the company is actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility through various donations and other efforts.
Since President Jeon Ho-hwan took office, two businesspeople have each donated 100 million KRW, and President Jeon himself contributed 10 million KRW, making the relay donation reach 300 million KRW after the eighth contributor in just over a month since it began.
A Dongmyung University official stated, “Along with the shared commitment to establishing a practical ‘Doing University,’ companies and universities in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam are putting effort into raising university development funds with the intention of advancing the region together.”
