DOK2, Eco Ocean Campaign Launched... Music Release

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Daks Kids of Pastel World announced on the 3rd that they have released the song "Whistle of the Whale," which conveys the meaning and importance of environmental protection, and are conducting the "Eco Ocean Campaign."

This campaign was planned to add value to children's small actions to protect the environment on the occasion of "World Environment Day" and to deliver a message about the necessity of environmental protection.

The song "Whistle of the Whale" released by Daks Kids was composed by Kim Geon-ho (visually impaired, 5th grade), the youngest composer of the cultural diplomacy charity organization Beautiful Mind. Kim composed the piece with thoughts on endangered marine animals and the environment, expressing the meaning of the environment and environmental protection practices from a child's perspective in the instrumental music.

A teaser video showing Kim's song composition process will be released through Pastel Mall and Daks Kids' SNS channels, and the completed piece will be unveiled as a performance featuring beautiful melodies of a woodwind quintet, piano, and percussion instruments.

Daks Kids will also conduct an eco challenge to encourage participation in environmental protection. Until the 6th, participants can take photos of themselves protecting the environment in daily life with their children, upload them on their personal Instagram, and complete the event form to enter. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive Daks Kids' "Save the Ocean" collection T-shirts and premium tumblers.

Meanwhile, Daks Kids has launched the "Save the Ocean" collection featuring graphics of endangered marine animals. The collection, consisting of six types of T-shirts, applies graphics of sea lions, sea turtles, Galapagos penguins, and blue whales to convey messages about the environment children will live in and marine animal protection. The T-shirts also emphasize brand identity by applying Daks' unique check pattern on the sides and sleeve ends.
