Hyundai Motor to Promote 'Hydrogen Energy' with BTS on Environment Day


[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 3rd that it has released a trailer video for a documentary on the theme of 'hydrogen energy' featuring BTS in celebration of World Environment Day on the 5th.


Since last year, Hyundai Motor Company has been conducting a 'Global Hydrogen Campaign' under the slogan 'Because of You' with BTS to promote the eco-friendliness and sustainability of future clean energy, hydrogen.


The newly released documentary trailer, under the theme 'For tomorrow We won’t wait,' emphasizes that the heroes saving the environment are 'us,' conveying that taking action and making efforts to protect the Earth without waiting for change is more important.


In the main video, BTS leader RM will act as the host and, through conversations with BTS members and the MZ generation, will deliver an easy-to-understand explanation of the eco-friendliness and safety of hydrogen energy.


This special production by Hyundai Motor Company aims to make the future energy 'hydrogen (H)' more approachable. In the video, BTS members emphasize that the heroes saving the environment are 'us' and plan to introduce the new eco-friendly energy 'hydrogen,' which will change the future, in a way that people can easily understand.


Additionally, the message conveys that in a hydrogen society, carbon dioxide emissions will decrease by 6 billion tons annually by 2050, and that our small actions to protect the Earth are more important than waiting for change, delivering hope for the Earth's future along with the positive energy of 'hydrogen energy.'


Hyundai Motor Company's 'Hydrogen Energy' documentary trailer video was released on the 3rd at 8 a.m. (Korean time) through Hyundai Motor Worldwide YouTube and Hyundai Lifestyle Instagram and other SNS channels.


The full version will premiere on YouTube at midnight on the 5th (Korean time) and will be screened through various channels, including domestic and international TV commercials.


The company emphasized that the main video is scheduled to be released on 'Environment Day,' established to raise awareness of the seriousness of global environmental pollution, which is expected to add greater significance.
