Homeplus Online, Good Consumption Campaign... Mileage Benefits for Participating Customers Homeplus Online is conducting a 'Good Consumption to Save the Earth' campaign in celebration of Environment Day.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Homeplus Online announced on the 3rd that it will conduct the 'Good Consumption to Save the Earth' campaign until the 23rd in celebration of Environment Day.


Homeplus presents a good consumption promotion where customers can participate in eco-friendly activities simply by purchasing products online. When purchasing one or more items from the 'Must(Environment) Special Exhibition' event, 5% of the purchase amount (up to 5,000 KRW) will be credited as mileage, and an additional 1,000 mileage points will be credited when purchasing one of the four types of eco-friendly shopping bags (limited to 100,000 units).


Homeplus Online has continuously made efforts to protect the environment, such as using reusable plastic boxes (trays) since 2004. In 2015, it introduced biodegradable bags for contactless delivery, and in July 2019, it switched ice packs to 'water ice packs.'


A Homeplus official said, "It is meaningful to conduct an eco-friendly campaign together with customers on Earth Day," adding, "We will lead ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management through a culture of good consumption that creates eco-friendly value by leveraging the characteristics of online shopping."
