Support for 10 Selected Companies This Year: Online Sales Participation, Product Display, and Promotion
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) held a plaque unveiling ceremony on the 2nd for companies selected as ‘2021 Gwangjin-gu Excellent Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).’
At the plaque unveiling ceremony, one of the 10 excellent SMEs, Daesel Cosmetic located in Gwangjang-dong, represented the companies, with Mayor Kim Seon-gap of Gwangjin-gu, company representatives, and employees attending together to exchange congratulatory greetings.
Following this, the attendees toured the company facilities and took time to listen to the operational status and business details.
Mayor Kim Seon-gap said, “Despite the prolonged difficulties caused by COVID-19, we are reassured to have excellent SMEs leading the local economy with outstanding management and technological capabilities. We will continue to prepare various support policies to help expand market channels and share burdens for SMEs.”
Meanwhile, in April, the district invited applications from companies with potential and growth prospects, and after document evaluation and review, selected a total of 10 excellent SMEs including Dongwoo CM, Korea Life Health, Smart FND, Daesel Cosmetic, Gwangjin Sleeping Bag, Mr. Challenge, SPI, Sol Fashion Master, Smart Guy, and Holoholic.
Also, on the 28th of last month, a certificate awarding ceremony was held for the 10 excellent SMEs, where opinions on SME support policies were exchanged.
The selected companies will be provided with various incentives such as ▲priority entry and sales support in online sales exhibitions ▲support for promotional booths and product displays in corporate promotional halls ▲preferential scoring when applying for the district’s SME development fund ▲and other promotional and market development support.
The district plans to start with this year’s first pilot selection of excellent SMEs and will further subdivide selection fields and provide substantial incentives to support their growth into representative local companies.
