'Daydeuk Promotion' Second Half Year Revamp
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT M Mobile is expanding the additional data provision of its three main unlimited plans from 100GB to 150GB, offering up to 300GB of data.
KT M Mobile, the number one MVNO company in Korea, announced on the 2nd that it will revamp the second half of the 'Daydeuk Promotion,' which provides subscribers with free LTE data every month for two years.
With this revamp, KT M Mobile has built a service that allows users to use up to 300GB per month?the largest data provision in the MVNO industry?with plans priced in the 30,000 KRW range. By supporting large-capacity LTE data, it aims to increase customer satisfaction and activate its own data sharing and MVNO bundling services.
First, the strategic plan 'M Plan Daily 5GB+/Season' (up to 150GB per month + 5Mbps, 39,700 KRW), newly launched earlier this year targeting the MZ generation, will receive an additional 150GB of data. Subscribers can use up to 300GB of data per month for two years. This plan reflects the mobile trends of the MZ generation by supporting large-capacity data along with the OTT service 'Season' basic subscription throughout the subscription period.
Additionally, the high-capacity data plans 'Moduda Mamkkeot 11GB+' (11GB per month + 2GB per day + 3Mbps, 32,980 KRW) and 'Moduda Mamkkeot 100GB+/Season' (100GB per month + 5Mbps, 39,700 KRW) will also receive an additional 150GB of data per month, enhancing product competitiveness by allowing consumers to use more than 200GB of data monthly. Among the approximately 60 LTE plans operated by KT M Mobile, Moduda Mamkkeot 11GB+ has the largest number of subscribers in their 20s and 30s and is expected to be well received by the younger generation.
Jeon Seung-bae, Head of Business Operations at KT M Mobile, said, “KT M Mobile has been continuously revamping the Daydeuk Promotion to provide the best communication services to consumers,” adding, “We will strive to develop data-related products and benefits such as data sharing and MVNO bundling services in line with the data-centric communication trend.”
