"Order a USIM and Receive It Immediately" KT Budget Phone 'Baro Delivery USIM' Service Offered

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT announced on the 2nd that it will launch the ‘Baro Delivery USIM’ service, which delivers the USIM immediately upon order to customers who purchase KT Alttelphone USIMs.

Baro Delivery USIM is a service where customers who order USIMs from the online malls of 11 KT Alttelphone operators including Sejong Telecom, Stage Five, NR Communication, Enex Telecom, ACN Korea, Unicoms, Keunsaram Connect, KT Skylife, KT M Mobile, Pritelcom, and Korea Cable Telecom, receive real-time delivery by nearby delivery riders according to the customer’s preferred delivery time.

For the Baro Delivery USIM service, KT partnered with delivery agencies such as ‘Saenggakdaero’ and ‘Bureusim’, which have over 1,000 branches nationwide. Using Baro Delivery USIM, customers can receive USIM delivery and subscribe to KT Alttelphone services until midnight on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Starting in Seoul, Baro Delivery USIM will expand to the metropolitan area and major cities nationwide by the end of this month, and will be expanded nationwide in the second half of the year.

We will continue to discover and introduce new services that meet customer needs.”

Since January, KT has been running a promotion offering free LTE data for 24 months on major postpaid plans for Alttelphone customers using the KT network. Starting in June, up to 150GB of LTE data per month will be provided free for 24 months. Combined with the Baro Delivery USIM service, KT plans to enhance customer convenience and benefits to drive the activation of the Alttelphone market.
