Providing Employment Information and Job Seeker Education... Accessible to Both Employers and Job Seekers
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) has prepared a non-face-to-face service for residents who are having difficulty finding jobs due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation.
The district announced that it will open and operate the Gangseo-gu Job Center KakaoTalk channel to facilitate smooth sharing of job information with residents.
By utilizing the KakaoTalk channel, which has a diverse user base and high accessibility, the aim is to provide demand-centered customized employment support services.
The Gangseo-gu Job Center KakaoTalk channel is filled with various information such as an introduction to the job center, how to register for job openings and job seekers, public job information including hope work and fixed-term work, and private job recruitment news every Wednesday.
Additionally, it provides various vocational education information for job seekers.
Both employers and job seekers can use it, and if KakaoTalk is installed on a mobile phone, job-related information can be easily checked anytime and anywhere simply by adding the channel without any separate procedures such as membership registration.
To add the Gangseo-gu Job Center KakaoTalk channel, open the KakaoTalk app, click on KakaoTalk friends, then the magnifying glass, search for ‘Gangseo-gu Job Center,’ and add the channel in that order.
The district plans to collect and post valuable job-related information so that residents can check job openings in a timely manner and apply to desired companies, and will update the materials regularly.
An official from the district said, “We hope that the KakaoTalk channel being operated this time will be of some help to residents struggling with employment,” and added, “We will strive to operate it thoroughly so that anyone can easily and quickly obtain job information and get employed where they want.”
